The Florentine ateliers of today seek to revive the methods of the late nineteenth-century Parisian atelier schools which produced a great flowering of figure painting in Western art.

In attending this type of rigorous training I have the great privilege of developing and honing my skills of accurate representational drawing and painting, human anatomy and classical aesthetics developed and used by the great masters of the past.
