During the 60-hour duration of this pose, my imagination was captured by the tranquil and meditative tone when the eyes were cast low which juxtaposed the youth and exuberant mischief of the enigmatic model: Natalia. This contrast led me to the concept of ‘Pasithea’ - the feminine as a threshold between consciousness and unconsciousness: waking and dream and the mysterious states in-between.
